Day 1: Bangkok arrival (-/-/-)

We welcome you at airport and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is your
leisure time.
Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 2: BANGKOK – Floating Market & City Tour (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.

To discover the way Bangkok used to be, travel approx.100 km. outside of Bangkok, to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market with its many colors, flavors and exotic fragrances. Start with a scenic ride on a narrow longtail-speedboat , passing riverside villages and fruit plantations, before entering the vibrant market. There will be many photo- opportunities along the way and on the colorful market on the water. Afterwards return to Bangkok.

Lunch will be at a local restaurant. 

Visit two of the most important sights of Bangkok. The Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho is a giant lying Buddha, covered in gold leaf. The Grand Palace is a “must see” for every visitor to Bangkok. Located close to the banks of the Chao Phraya River (The River of Kings), the Grand Palace is the perfect example of an ancient Siamese court. Within the compound is the Temple of The Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), which houses Thailand most precious image of the Lord Buddha.

Important: Please note that for visiting the Grand Palace, you will be required to wear proper attire (no bare shoulder, bare knees or strapless-heel shoes). Shoes must be removed before entering all temple buildings as a matter of respect.

Day 3: BANGKOK – Ayutthaya (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Round Trip ( Coach – Cruise )

Visit “Ayutthaya Ancient City, World Heritage Site”

By Coach:

07:30 am. Check in at River City Shopping Complex – Sipraya Pier

08:00 am. Depart from Bangkok by air – conditioned coach to Ayutthaya province.

09:15 am. Arrive Ayutthaya the world heritage ancient city. Former capital of Thailand (B.E.1350 – 1767). Ayutthaya was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1991, December 13.

Place to visit:

  • WAT PHUTTHAISAWAN. The royal monastery where the white prang (Khmer-style pagoda), located in the middle of the ancient compound. This temple was built by King U-thong who was founder of Ayutthaya Kingdom. Located at the site where he first settled before establishing Ayutthaya as the capital city in 1350.
  • WAT MAHATHAT, One of the most amazing Buddha’s head in the root of the Bodhi tree, also it was the royal monastery and served as the residence of the supreme monk in the early Ayutthaya period.
  • WAT PHRA SRI SANPHET, The largest and the most important temple with in the Royal palace compound in Ayutthaya, and also it is the prototype of the Grand palace and temple of the emerald Buddha in Bangkok.
  • VIHARA PHRA MONGKHON BOPHIT, Located next to WAT PHRA SRI SANPHET. There is a large bronze Buddha image which was originally enshrined in the open area outside the royal monastery and later covered by this chapel.

By Cruise:

01:00 pm. Welcome on board to Grand Pearl Cruiser at WAT CHONG LOM (Pathum Thani province) for cruising back to Bangkok along the Chao Praya river. Superb buffet lunch which includes a delight variety of oriental and western cuisines will be served. The cruise passes through Nonthaburi pier, Koh Kret (Mon’s community) and local Thai villages.

03:00 pm. Coffee break will be served while you enjoy the enchanting sights along the river banks such as the Royal barges house, Thammasart University, The Royal Grand Palace, Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) etc.

04:00 pm. Arrive at the River City Pier Shopping Complex.

Day 4: BANGKOK – CHIANG MAI (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Your free time until we transfer you to Bangkok airport for flight to Chiang Mai

Arrive at Chaing Mai airport then transfer to hotel in Chiang Mai. 

Rest of the day is your leisure time in Chiang Mai.

Evening, enjoy a superb dinner called Khantok with hill tribe performance.

Day 5: CHIANG MAI (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel.

You will be picked up from your hotel and head to the riverfront Worarot Market, this market is a hotbed of people throughout the day and offers almost any product that you can think of. Nearby, stands Ton Lamyai, the largest flower market in Chiang Mai where it is possible to find the freshest freshly cut flowers. From the market we continue with a “Samlor,” or rickshaw pass Thapae Gate, one of the four original city gates, and then stop at Three Kings Monument. Next short walk to visit Wat Chedi Luang, which remains in an excellent state of preservation. Without a doubt, this is a perfect example of the Lanna Thai temple architecture. Afterwards driving up to the famous landmark of Chiang Mai– the mountain temple Wat Doi Suthep , which is situated on a hill, 1050 m high. On clear days, you will enjoy a fantastic view over the town and the province.

Lunch at local restaurant

After lunch visit Bo Sang craft center where generations of Bo Sang families have been engaged in umbrella and parasol making for more than 200 years. Here, we can watch women make bamboo and paper umbrellas, then hand-paint them with traditional Thai scenes or floral patterns. Afterwards visit the cotton and silk weaving villages, the major course of all the Thai silk and cotton produced in Chiang Mai. Then see artisans carving wood and creating celadon, silver and lacquer ware items.

Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 6: CHIANG MAI (B/L)

At 7.00, visit Mae Khachan hot springs, stunning Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) and Chiang Saen. Proceed to The famous Golden Triangle area of Northern Thailand.
After lunch, we visit Wat Phrathat Pukhao. We go back to Chiang Mai. On the way back, we stop to visit Akha and Yao hill tribe villages.

Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 7: CHIANG MAI – Departure (B)

After breakfast, free at your leisure till the time transfer to the airport for your onward fight.
