Day 1: Ho Chi Minh / Arrival

Upon Ho Chi Minh airport, our driver will meet you at airport and transfer to hotel.

Check-in and your free time for relax.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnel (B,L)

Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeingthe beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.

Have lunch at local restaurant.

Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. Return to Saigon.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta (B,L)

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.

Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.

Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.

In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – Da Nang – Hoi An (B)

Breakfast at hotel.

Your free time for relax until transfer to airport for a flight to Da Nang Airport.

Upon Da Nang airport, our driver will meet you at airport and transfer to hotel in Hoi An.

Day 5: Hoi An – My Son Sanctuary (B,L)

Morning, at 8.00, Our guide picks you up at hotel and leave Hoi An for visiting My Son Sanctuary – the ruins of Cham people and was an imperial city during Cham dynasty. Here you can have more chance to explore and understand of technique of Old Cham people in making red bricks to build Tower which still now a secret to everyone, you can see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. It also surprises for those who are curious with architectural art. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Moreover, you have chance to enjoy traditional music performed by Cham girls in their colorful uniforms.

DAY 6: HOI AN – HUE (B)

Breakfast at hotel and your relax in Hoi An.

Afternoon, we transfer you to Hue city. Check in and your free time for relax.

DAY 7: HUE – CITY TOUR (B,L)

8:00 am- 8:20 : our driver and guide pick you up and start the tour. Get
on the dragon boat , go along the Huong river to enjoy the fresh atmosphere and
peaceful beauty of Hue on the way to Thien Mu pagoda, the oldest pagoda here.
After visiting Thien Mu, we get on the mini van and go to the Citadel to see the living,
working, worshiping and relaxing areas of Nguyen Kings’family, the last royal family in
Viet Nam. Then, we have a 5-min walk from the palace to royal museum to know more
about the king’s life through royal objects exhibited there.
The last stop in the morning is Dong Ba market, before we head to the restaurant for
lunch Lunch time at My Home restaurant is a great time to savour the best Hue
traditional foods and some royal tea while having your feets relax in herbal water after
the meal.
In the afternoon, we will visit two royal tombs Minh Mang and Khai Dinh with
traditional architecture and French-influenced style, respectively.
We will take a 10-min trip on mini van to Thuy Xuan conical hat village to visit a local
family who produce the traditional hat and incent.
You can have many photos taken with creative decoration from colorful incent sticks
made by people here.
4:30 pm : tour is finished and we get on mini van , come back to the hotel

Day 8: HUE – Hanoi (B)

Breakfast at hotel.

Your free time for relax until we transfer to Da Nang airport for flight to Ha Noi.

Arrival in Noi Bai airport in Hanoi. Transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 9: Hanoi City Tour (B,L)

AM: 7.45 – 8.15: Free pick up at your hotel. Then visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 – the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Then continue on to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda at West lake (One of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam). Then visit Bat Trang pottery village (applied on Mon, Wed & Fri). Lunch at a local restaurant.

PM: After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum (apply on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat), the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam, see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 – it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters. and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple. in the end, journey through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you’ll then have a chance for some shopping and exploration.

An hours cyclo tour around the bustling old quarter to experience ordinary life in Hanoi.

DAY 10: HANOI – SAPA (B,L)

06:30 – 07.00: Pick up from the hotel, get on big bus and depart for Sapa (Bus ticket is not included)
13.00: Arrive Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People.
The tour guide will be waiting for you at No.3 Fansipan Str (or at where the bus stop),
holding the sign “Sapa Pathfinder Travel” to welcome you. Then, please follow him to come to the hotel.

· Enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes, check-in procedures
14.30: A short trek to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for bus to pick up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.
Trekking distance is about 3.5 kms and it lasts for 2 hours
17.00: Come back to Sapa Town.

DAY 11: SAPA – HANOI (B,L)

7.00 – 7.45: Have breakfast at hotel and prepare light pack for trekking
9.30: Trek from Sapa to Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain.
12.30: Picnic lunch at Lao Chai Village
13.30:Heading to Ta Van village – home of Dzay ethnic people.
14.30: Bus picks you up at Ta Van Bridge to Sapa.
Trekking distance is about 12 kms and it lasts for 4.5 hours
15.00 – 15.30: Have a shower at shower room of our hotel.
15:30: The tour guide will take you to the bus stop
16:00: Get on bus to back to Hanoi.

Arrival in Hanoi around 20.30 – 21.00 PM. Drop off at your hotel.

Day 12: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B,L,D)

08:00: Our tour guide and Shuttle Bus pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi old quarter.

08: 45 Departure to Halong Bay for 2.5 Hours.

10:30: Arrive in Hai Duong province, and have 20 minute short break. 11:30 – 12:00: Arrive to Tuan Chau harbor.

12:30 – On arrival at the pier, you will board your Cruise and you are warmly welcomed by the professional and friendly crew.

13:00 – Check-in cabin and enjoy specially prepared lunch while cruising through most beautiful parts of the magical bay with thousands of amazing limestone islands emerging from emerald water. Sailing with Cruise in very tranquil route, exploring the exotic beauty of the legendary Bay, a feeling in paradise will come to you.

14:30 – Keep cruising to the most beautiful parts of Halong Bay. This is the best time to relax after lunch and enjoy your privacy, capturing stunning photos of the legendary bay.

15:30 – Small tender brings you to visit Titop island, hiking to the top of the island from where tourists can capture a panoramic view of Halong Bay.

16:30 – Kayaking & swimming

18:00 – Join the sunset party on the sundeck in a warm and romantic atmosphere, making friends with other members in the group, enjoy fresh local fruit, listening soft, light music.

19:00 – Enjoy the special dinner cooked by our professional chef.

20:30 – The moment you choose your own way to relax after dinner, listening to music, singing karaoke, relaxing on the sundeck, squid fishing available for entertainment during the night time.

Day 13: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B,L)

06:00 – Take photos of sunrise, morning exercise with our Tai Chi master, a perfectly healthy way to start a new day.
07:00 – Enjoy your breakfast, coffee, tea, fruits.

07:45 – Visit Surprising Cave – the most beautiful one in Halong Bay.

09:00 – Back to Silversea Cruise for check-out. Keep cruising towards Ha Long Bay, passing by hundreds of islands and islets with different shapes depending on your imagination.

10:00 – Cooking class opened right on the cruise.

11:00 – Farewell lunch served on the cruise before you arrive at harbor.

12:30 – Tour ends in TuanChau pier and transfer back Hanoi.

15:00 – 15:30: Arrive in Hanoi, drop off at hotel.

Day 14: Hanoi – SIEM REAP, CAMBODIA (B)

Morning, your leisure time to go around Hanoi for sight-seeing and shopping until we transfer to Hanoi Airport for the flight to Siem Reap.

Day 15: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR TOURS (B,L)

Morning, visit to the antique capital of Angkor Thom. Continue your visit at Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in Angkor. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon, visit Angkor Wat the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor.Evening, enjoy buffet dinner and watch Khmer Traditional Dance Show at a local restaurant.Morning, visit to the antique capital of Angkor Thom. DAY 16: SIEM REAP – TONLE SAP LAKE (B,L)

Morning, visit the National Museum at 7.30am. After that, you will have a boat trip on Tonle
Sap Lake for sightseeing. Tonle Sap Lake is one of the largest lakes in Asia.
Leave the lake and head to downtown to visit Artisan’s D’angkor, the caving art school.
Continue your visit to Wat Thmei.
Enjoy lunch and spend your leisure time in Siem Reap.

DAY 17: SIEM REAP – DEPARTURE (B)
